The TIA instrument has two signal inputs and one trigger
input. Each signal input can be routed to the internal
paths for the start and stop signals. This enables events
such as pulse width or pulse period to be measured on a
single input with one channel only.
Two signal inputs must be used for measuring propaga-
tion delay.
The trigger signal determines the measurement start
timing as an arming trigger.
